WIRE WEREWOLVES began in late 2004 originally as a dark ambient/black noise project by Evan Pacewicz. After a few demos that were never released; the project was put on hold until January 2005. The following show included a line-up of guitar, drums and vocals/noise; no 'real' songs just a mash of harsh noise, heavy guitars, and broken drum patterns. Directly after that the demo CDr 'Swine Flesh' was recorded. A more cohesive product compared to the live performance. The demo contains a heavy influence of punk and metal with noise passages. The line-up did not exist for more than 4 months and quickly disbanded and was to never exist again.
Enter Jay Howard a friend in the LA noise underground (Circuit Wound) and a fan of the demo 3" CDr, Howard offered to see if the project wanted to still remain but in a new direction. Rethinking the project, Pacewicz & Howard decided to begin writing songs based in death and black metal but combining it with a strong influence of true industrial. The music written only enhances and sheds a light on what is truly human and weak. FEAR.
